At SummerSlam on August 15 2010, The Big Show faced CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury of the Straight Edge Society in a handicap match. The SES had been furious with Big Show since Show pulled off Punk’s mask and revealed his baldness. They injured Big Show’s hand on Smackdown August 6 2010. Show took on three jobbers in a match the next week to prove he was ready for the SES.

The Big Show vs. The Straight Edge Society

The match between Big Show and the SES began with Show revealing that his hand was fully healed. Joey Mercury started off the match with Big Show. Luke Gallows quickly interfered and Big Show took both of them down. The SES regrouped and Gallows and Mercury went back into the ring. Show tossed Gallows outside the ring and picked up Mercury by the head, throwing him on top of Gallows.
